Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience in Ohio with flexible day and evening shifts.

Job Details

• Work in the CVOR unit within a hospital environment,

• Care for cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and transplant surgical patients,

• Includes both general OR and specialized cardiovascular procedures,

• Rotating 2x8 and 2x12 hour shifts, with potential hours between 6:30 am and 11:00 pm including required call,

• Shift assignments will be filled according to departmental need and require schedule flexibility,

• Use of Epic EMR is required,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration,

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant nursing,

• At least 1 year prior CVOR RN experience,

• At least 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility,

• Current BLS certification,

• Proficiency with Epic EMR,

• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program,

• Two professional references required, including one from a manager, director, or formal leadership role,

• Primary responsibilities include supporting and circulating in complex cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and transplant surgeries,

• Role requires participation in the call schedule and flexibility with shift assignments,

• All candidates must promptly complete Ohio fingerprinting for credentialing,

• Former employees are eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months,

• Current employees of Ohio State University hospitals are ineligible for travel assignments,

• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers,

• Time off requests must be submitted prior to contract signing,
