Wastewater Lab Technician

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring experienced Wastewater Lab Technicians for an upcoming assignment in Central Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 7 days per week when assigned to a project.

You will earn:

$45 before overtime

$30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)

Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)

Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)

Duties, Skills & Qualifications:

Maintain clarifier systems

Knowledge of conventional waste treatment systems.

Analytical skills related to \wet\ chemical analysis

Knowledge of electroplating process

Experience with treatment metering pumps and valves

Ability to monitor and maintain waste treatment pits, sumps and settling basins.

Responsible for storage and disposal of waste materials

Responsible for inventory of chemicals for waste treatment systems

Minimum 1 years experience in manufacturing environment

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Physically able to bend, lift, stand and reach

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

Basic computer skills

Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
