Compensation: $135,000 - $160,000 annual salary, based on experience

A Day in the Life of the Senior Architect

As a Senior Architect, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering impactful projects across diverse industries, including industrial, commercial, and municipal structures. Your work will influence communities by providing high-quality designs that align with client goals and meet industry standards. From collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to managing project deliverables, this role offers a blend of creative vision and technical execution.

Responsibilities include:

Manage the full lifecycle of project document development, ensuring deliverables align with client expectations and quality standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design integrated solutions that meet project specifications.

Maintain compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Prepare and present project progress, findings, and solutions to clients and stakeholders.

Ensure timely and budget-conscious project execution without compromising quality.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field, Master’s preferred

Texas-licensed Architect or the ability to obtain Texas licensure

10+ years of experience as a Project Architect OR 15+ years as a Job Captain with proven success in managing complex projects

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

Autodesk Certified Professional preferred

Experience with additional tools like Microsoft Office, Adobe, RS Means, and Sketchup is a plus

Strong knowledge of international building codes, TAS, and compliance standards

Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills

Willingness to travel occasionally for project needs
