Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with 8–12+ years of hands-on expertise in mechanical design, CAD modeling, and end-to-end product development. The ideal candidate must have strong experience working in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments and deep practical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.

This role requires strong proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, and experience designing components across plastics, sheet metal, and machined/solid metal.

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Design & CAD Engineering

Lead mechanical design activities for complex components and assemblies.

Develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and design documentation using SolidWorks, Creo, or similar CAD software.

Design plastic, sheet metal, machined, and solid metal components with high precision.

Manufacturing & DFM/DFA

Apply DFM/DFA principles to ensure manufacturability and efficiency.

Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis, material selection, and production feasibility studies.

Collaborate with manufacturing teams on tooling, jigs, fixtures, and prototyping requirements.

Engineering Principles & Product Development

Utilize strong mathematical, conceptual, and analytical capability in mechanical engineering.

Work closely with cross-functional teams (production, QA, testing, etc.) to finalize designs.

Support end-to-end product development from concept to mass/low-volume production.

Optional but Preferred Skills

Experience with mechanical simulations such as

FEA (Finite Element Analysis)

Stress analysis

Motion studies

Thermal design/analysis

Familiarity with PLM systems or CAD data management tools.

Key Skills Required:

Strong experience in mechanical component design.

Expertise in SolidWorks, Creo, and 3D modeling software.

Deep understanding of production processes and tooling.

Excellent knowledge of DFM/DFA and tolerance analysis.

Experience in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments.
