Travel Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric RT

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with at least 2 years of pediatric hospital experience, including Level III or IV NICU, for a night shift pediatric position requiring floating.

Job Details

• Work in the pediatric respiratory/neuro diagnostics department,

• Primary assignment on the CORE team with floating to the PICU,

• Patient population includes critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients,

• Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30),

• Floating between CORE team and PICU is required,

• 13-week contract assignment,

• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are not accepted,

Job Requirements

• Current RRT credential,

• OH State license required for RRTs (license required if applicable),

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a pediatric hospital setting,

• Experience in Level III or IV NICU required,

• At least two professional references required, with at least one from a manager or supervisor,

• Must not have been a permanent employee of this facility within the last 2 years,

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy and neurodiagnostic support to pediatric and neonatal patients,

• Must be prepared to float to various units depending on clinical needs,

• No local candidates will be considered if residing within a 60-mile radius,

• Attendance and punctuality policies are strictly enforced,

• Previous travelers or employees must have a 2-year separation before returning,
