ComResource is looking for a Workplace Engineer.
We need someone to assist in supporting the service desk, resolving technical issues, and managing hardware asset intake and organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide Level 1 service desk support via phone, portal, email, and in person
Handle hardware intake, tagging, organization, and scanning
Support laptop refreshes (imaging, delivery, configuration)
Manage warranty claims and vendor repair coordination
Follow ticketing guidelines and maintain SLOs (95%+ satisfaction)
Document incidents and patterns
Write knowledge articles and SOPs
Support mobile device setup (iOS/Android) using MDM tools
Participate in small projects involving deployment and testing
Identify AI automation use-cases for team efficiency
Perform lifting of hardware (up to 50lbs as needed)
Essentials:
College degree or 3+ years IT support experience
Experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac environments
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience with hardware asset management
Ability to work onsite and multitask
Experience with remote support tools
Desired:
Familiarity with Intune (MDM), Autopilot
Experience maintaining asset inventory (Ivanti preferred)
Ability to create technical documentation
Certifications: ITIL Foundation, Apple Cert Pro, A+, Microsoft/Azure/Windows
