Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a WordPress Developer. In this fully remote role, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing WordPress websites that align with clients' goals. You'll work collaboratively with designers, marketers, and other developers to create dynamic, user-friendly, and visually appealing websites.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites.

Customize themes and plugins to meet project requirements.

Optimize website performance, speed, and responsiveness.

Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and meet accessibility standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in WordPress development. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred

2+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress development.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Ability to work with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Experience with custom theme and plugin development.

Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Knowledge of website optimization for performance and SEO.

Familiarity with website security best practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a remote environment.
