About the Role

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a motivated Building Design Structural Engineer to join a growing team in West Austin. This role focuses on the design of commercial, municipal, and educational buildings, providing an excellent opportunity for recent EITs or newly licensed PEs to grow their career in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop structural plans for commercial, municipal, and educational buildings using Revit

Visit construction sites to ensure work is progressing according to design and plan specifications

Communicate project status and updates to internal teams and external stakeholders

Collaborate with project owners to understand design needs and provide exceptional service

Attend project meetings and support licensed PE as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Work Eligibility: U.S. Work Authorization Required

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master’s degree a plus

Minimum 2–3 years of structural engineering experience in building design (commercial, multifamily, retail, residential, municipal, etc.)

EIT certification required; recent PE licensure preferred

Proficiency in Revit is highly desirable

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work

Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and contractors
