Schedule: Full-time On-site 2nd Shift (Mon–Thurs 3:00PM–1:00AM; occasional Fri overtime)
About the Role
Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Production Supervisor (Top Load Washer) – 2nd Shift for a client in Ripon, WI to lead front-line operations in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This leader ensures production goals are met safely and efficiently while fostering a team culture built on respect, continuous improvement, and servant leadership. You’ll guide daily activities, support team members, and drive operational excellence across your assigned area.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Risk Prevention
Lead proactive safety initiatives and reinforce consistent safety habits
Train team members on safety standards, equipment operation, quality expectations, and 5S/lean practices
Promote a safety-focused culture where employees feel comfortable raising concerns
Ensure proper PPE use and compliance with all regulatory and company safety requirements
Team Leadership & Coaching
Mentor, coach, and develop production team members to improve performance and skill sets
Encourage collaborative problem-solving and open communication within the team
Model respectful, servant-style leadership in all interactions
Act as the first point of contact for employee relations questions or concerns
Partner with union stewards on contract or disciplinary discussions when needed
Production & Workflow Management
Oversee day-to-day production activity to meet output targets, cycle times, and quality standards
Collaborate with technical staff and maintenance teams to resolve production challenges
Set team goals aligned with operational KPIs
Work to minimize waste, improve processes, and reduce work-in-progress
Adjust priorities and resources as needed to maintain production flow and efficiency
Continuous Improvement
Empower team members to contribute ideas that reduce risk, waste, and downtime
Support lean initiatives including Kaizen, Kanban, and process control improvements
Encourage a persistent mindset toward operational optimization
Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Work Eligibility Required
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations (preferred)
1–3 years in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong safety involvement
Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
Servant leadership mindset with proven team development experience
Prior internships, co-ops, or professional experience considered relevant
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership, coaching, and mentorship abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Effective problem-solving and ability to promote proactive solutions
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts (Kaizen, Kanban, scheduling, process control)
Ability to sustain production rates and maintain required cycle times
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs
