About the Role
Central Texas Recruiting is seeking an experienced Press Production Supervisor for a client in Ripon, WI to lead a high-performing production team within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
Safety First Mindset
Champion a safety-first culture and enforce all safety policies
Conduct safety audits and lead root-cause investigations
Correct unsafe behaviors or conditions promptly
Ensure team members receive required training and use proper PPE
Servant Leadership
Model servant leadership through coaching, empowerment, and support
Provide resources and remove obstacles for operators and technicians
Promote a respectful and inclusive environment where input is valued
People Development
Train, mentor, and assess team member abilities, including cross-training
Oversee attendance, conduct, and consistent enforcement of company policies
Serve as first point of contact for employee relations issues
Interface with union stewards regarding contract and disciplinary matters
Production Oversight (Fast-Paced, High-Volume Stamping)
Oversee all stamping press operations to meet production and quality targets
Assign tasks to maximize manpower and machine utilization
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and respond to production challenges
Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow
Continuous Improvement
Lead and participate in CI initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing)
Analyze downtime, scrap, bottlenecks, and implement countermeasures
Collaborate with quality, engineering, and maintenance on process enhancements
Encourage team-driven efficiency and throughput improvements
Reporting & Communication
Maintain accurate production, quality, and safety documentation
Report KPIs to leadership in a timely manner
Communicate cross-functionally to resolve tooling, maintenance, or quality issues
Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Work Eligibility Required
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations (preferred)
1–3 years of high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing experience
Prior supervisory experience, preferably in high-volume stamping operations
History of strong servant leadership
Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Ability to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement
Experience working cross-functionally in production environments
Physical Requirements
Ability to stoop, bend, stand for long periods
Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
