Supervisory ResponsibilitiesMentor and coach Junior TechniciansMonitor productivity and provide constructive feedbackResolve field issues and customer concernsTrain new employeesEnsure adherence to company and safety policiesTake disciplinary action when necessaryTypical Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstall and repair industrial and commercial doors and dock equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and assess repair needsInstall/repair openers, springs, tracks, pulleys, panels, and related componentsMaintain accurate inventory of partsTroubleshoot dock and door maintenance issuesMaintain communication with managementPrioritize safety and proper worksite proceduresBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendorsHandle after-hours emergency service calls as needed (paid at double time)Assist in the warehouse when requiredSupport and work alongside Junior TechniciansReport daily tasks and progress to the Service ManagerSkills & AbilitiesStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to understand standard and metric measurementsSolid decision-making skills, including under pressureBasic electrical knowledgeProficiency with hand and power toolsforklift and scissor lift experienceEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDField service and installation experience requiredMinimum 2 years in commercial/service technician rolesValid driver’s license with clean driving recordPhysical RequirementsAbility to climb and work from ladders up to 40 ftAbility to navigate office, warehouse, and mezzanine spacesAbility to lift up to 75 lbsAbility to operate a company vehicle PIa546ff3b99da-
