Senior Node.js Developer with Database Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer with strong PostgreSQL expertise to join our client's team in Cupertino.

This staff augmentation position offers the opportunity to work on various development projects, contributing to the design and implementation of robust backend solutions in a collaborative environment.

This is a temporary full-time position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and maintain applications using Node.js and PostgreSQL

Design efficient database schemas and queries

Collaborate with team members on requirements gathering and solution design

Build and maintain API endpoints and services

Conduct code reviews and implement coding standards

Troubleshoot and resolve software issues

Document code and technical specifications

Participate in Agile development activities

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience with Node.js application development

Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design and optimization

Experience with RESTful API development

Experience with Hasura GraphQL engine

Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript

Understanding of microservices architecture

Experience with automated testing

Knowledge of CI/CD processes
