Engineering Draftsman/Technical Data Specialist

Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the configuration of engineering data to include engineering drawings, engineering change orders and Illustrated Part Breakdowns to ensure currency and accuracy.

Work closely with the customer engineering team in generating engineering drawings and engineering change orders.

Use computer aided design and engineering software to generate engineering drawings for inclusion in the customer drawing repository and JEDMICS.

Process engineering change orders and perform updates/modifications to existing engineering drawings.

Requirements

REQUIRED/DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

SECRET Clearance or higher

Minimum 5 years' experience in configuration management with engineering drawings

Experience utilizing engineering drawing requirements and standards is required

Associate degree in a technical field is highly encouraged

SolidWorks AutoCad and ProEngineering experience is highly desired

Familiarity with DoD Engineering Change process and DoD configuration Control protocol
