Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a hospital-based day shift outpatient role requiring a KY license.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital setting with both acute care and inpatient rehab caseloads
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm
Patient population includes ICU and med/surg patients as well as inpatient rehabilitation cases
No floating required within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals
Work as part of an inpatient therapy team including physical therapists, other occupational therapists, a speech-language pathologist, and therapy techs
Coverage required during some major holidays; must work December 26, New Year's Eve, and January 2
75-mile radius rule applies for eligibility, with some flexibility possible
Requirements
Current KY Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of relevant occupational therapy experience required
Two professional references required for consideration
Must be able to document relevant work experience within 3 years prior to consideration
No specific charting or EMR experience required
