Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review of specifications and drawings.

Key responsibilities involve reviewing technical documents, conducting on-site inspections of installations and materials, preparing and coordinating test plans, and documenting all findings, non-conformances, and corrective actions. The role requires strong knowledge of electrical codes and the ability to coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to maintain quality throughout a project.

Key responsibilities
Document and plan review: Review technical documents, project drawings, submittals, and method statements to ensure compliance.
Inspections: Conduct on-site inspections of electrical installations, including cable containment, terminations, and grounding systems.
Material verification: Inspect and verify the quality and traceability of all incoming electrical material deliveries.
Testing: Prepare, coordinate, and witness factory and site acceptance tests (FAT and SAT), as well as field tests like continuity, hipot, and torque.
Compliance and reporting: Ensure all work adheres to applicable codes and standards (e.g., NFPA 70/NEC, IEC/IEEE).
Documentation: Create and maintain daily, weekly, and final QA/QC reports, including non-conformance reports (NCRs), inspection requests, and test results.
Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and client representatives to address quality issues and manage corrective actions.
Punch listing: Conduct final walk-throughs and manage the "punch list" of outstanding items before project handover.
Turnover: Assist in preparing the final handover documentation package.

While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee must be able to:
Climb ladders, platforms, stairs.
Work in confined areas such as inside tanks or other vessels.
Work from a man lift at various heights.
Work at various heights.
Work in an industrial atmosphere that will involve noise, cranes, welding, grinding, moving of heavy equipment, etc.
Maintain balance working on cylindrical or angular shaped fabrications.
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Possibly work in extreme weather conditions. Indoor and outdoor work. Shop fabrication areas and field industrial sites that may involve climbing stairs, ladders and vessels.
Personal Attributes:
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to multi-task on a large scale level is critical.
