About the Company

Our client is a leading retail organization known for delivering exceptional products and customer experiences. They are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team and support accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.

Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

1-3 years of accounting experience (retail industry preferred).

Strong knowledge of GAAP principles.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) and MS Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
