The core responsibilities of this role include:
Assisting the Account Management team with order creation and data entry in our Transportation Management System. Scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments via phone call, email correspondence, and web portals. Answering phone and email customer service inquiries. Other ad hoc customer service support as needed.
Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay: $18/hour

Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.

Role Purpose:
Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist in coordination of export/import shipments.
Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments.
Track and trace all shipments.
Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) - SAP.
Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports.
Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends.
Proactively identify problems to management.
Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed.
Prepare client invoice packets
Confirm rates with carriers. Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
6 months - 1 year warehouse or logistics experience, preferred
Communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work as part of a team and individually
