State of Ohio – DPS – .Net Programmer 5 – 777669 (Onsite) This is a fully onsite role at the Shipley Building in Columbus, OH. The consultant will work closely with IT supervisors, PMs, BAs, QA, and developers in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements gathering, design, development, testing, demos, deployment, and support

New development and rewriting legacy apps into .NET using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Windows Forms, SQL Server

Work with N-tier architecture and follow ODPS coding standards

Must demonstrate technical competence during interviews (15-min Teams intro + full onsite interview)

Key Required Skills

The role requires experience with ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, SQL Server database development, .NET Framework 4.0 or higher, Entity Framework, SOA/WCF, RESTful APIs, AJAX, Windows Forms, SSRS, Visual Studio (including VS 2019), Azure DevOps/TFS, Agile methodologies, N-tier architecture, and mobile-compliant applications.
