Engineering Assistant

* Implementing and enforcing the organizational values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies and organizational standards, over all areas of their responsibility, to achieve the vision of the company.

* Applying the procedures in the areas under their responsibility, to ensure compliance with them.

* Improving business process to make robust and efficient processes.

* Confer with planners daily to discuss detailed plans for the day and for execution of those plans.

* Monitor and participate in the activity on the floor to ensure that all assignments are being completed correctly and in a timely manner.

* Act as a liaison between planners and team members to ensure that everyone is working efficiently.

* Make sure any maintenance work orders are completed in a safe and timely manner.

* 5 S Work area; ensure cage stays clean and in safe working order.

Also ensure that material handling equipment is in working order and pre- shift inspections are done.

* Assist Operations when needed in remediation of concerns Requirements * Must be able to walk or move around warehouse floor 100 % of shift * Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a seldom basis * Noise levels may be high MACHINERY, EQUIPMENT AND TOOLINGS UNDER THE RESPONSIBILITY * Basic office equipment, Forklift, Tugger, Scissor Lift and any other applicable tools
