What you'll do:
The Accounts Payables Coordinator will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts
payable throughout the entirety of the organization. This includes offering reconciliation,
research and issue resolution. The opportunity to drive process improvements to streamline and
simplify processes, reporting and reconciliation is an integral part of this role. The right
candidate will have a customer service approach in supporting month-end closing procedures,
preparing Accounts Payable reports, assisting with audits, and promoting process improvements
to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing, maintaining, and reporting the Accounts Payable function for
all program operations of Norwescap.
• Payment of vendor invoices and managing relevant documentation
• Research and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices or payment
status
• Ensure compliance with Accounts Payable policies, procedures and statutory
requirements.
• Assist with month-end closing and year-end audit schedules
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
This position is fully in-office and requires that the applicant reside within commuting
distance of Phillipsburg, NJ.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to commute to Phillipsburg, NJ required
• 2 years of accounts payable experience preferred, preferably for a nonprofit organization
• Accuracy and attention to detail
