Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery day shift position in Ohio, requiring 2 years of L&D experience and a compact or OH RN license.

Responsibilities

Work in Labor & Delivery within a hospital setting

Day shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Assignment duration is 13 weeks

Use of Epic EMR system required

May be required to float to other units as needed

Locals accepted at the same rate

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients and assisting with deliveries

Urgent completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required after booking

First-time travelers are considered but previous travel experience is preferred

Time off requests must be submitted and built into the contract

Assignment offers a supportive team environment with orientation provided

Requirements

Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required

Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP

NCC C-EFM accepted instead of AWHONN Advanced

IV start skills and Labor & Delivery experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

Two professional references required, with at least one from a supervisor or leadership position

Not eligible if currently employed at any OSU hospital; former employees must be gone at least 6 months
