Mtb Sales Representative

Job Description

We are The Bike Company (BikeCo.com). We are a high-end mountain bike retailer that specializes in the sale and servicing of Pro to Race level mountain bikes and parts. We are looking to add a Sales Associate to join our inside sales team. We are seeking a driven, well-spoken individual with a passion for mountain bikes, sales, and customer service to join us at our headquarters in Lake Forest CA.

Responsibilities:

Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers.

Prospect and contact potential customers

Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.

Resolve customer inquiries and complaints.

Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments.

Create sales material to present to customers.

Provide a high level of customer service.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years sales and customer service experience

Ability to build rapport with clients.

Deadline and detail-oriented

Ability to Multi-task

Basic understanding of general sales and marketing principles

Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, ability to tailor communications to fit various audiences and technical levels.

Familiarity with CRM platforms

Ability to work on a small team in a dynamic setting.

Excellent problem solving and relationship management skills.

Basic understanding of mountain biking /cycling culture

Willingness to learn and adapt to a quickly growing and changing work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Mountain Biking, Cycling or outdoor industry experience.

Working knowledge of bicycle technologies, past, current, and emerging

Experience with basic bicycle maintenance

Experience with Google Drive and Google Docs

Experience with social media and connected apps

Experience with Microsoft Excel
