Opportunity Overview:

Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance Technician!

We offer a competitive total compensation range of $19-$20/hr., which is commensurate with experience. Enjoy the benefits of weekly pay, opportunities for additional compensation through our Monthly Production Incentive Program, and quarterly safety bonus opportunities. Our shifts run Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with benefits starting DAY ONE!

Your Ideal Profile:

The perfect candidate will have 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or inspection, preferably within the glass industry.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will perform crucial tasks to ensure the quality of our glass products. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing final inspections on glass to identify any defects such as cracks or chips, and promptly notifying your supervisor of any issues.

Utilizing a tape measure to confirm that products meet specifications.

Handling and moving glass from various locations including tables, furnaces, and delivery trucks for 8-10 hours daily.

Reading and labeling products accurately.

Reporting deviations from the required standards for glass.

Following work instructions meticulously and communicating effectively about production paperwork.

Addressing any customer quality issues that arise.

Conducting daily safety inspections and maintaining a safe work environment.

Other duties as assigned to support quality control and safety compliance.

Essential Skills:

Qualified candidates should possess the following abilities:

Capability to lift up to 75 lbs independently and 150 lbs with assistance.

Proficiency in accurately reading a tape measure.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Willingness to work in a high-temperature manufacturing environment.

Preferred experience with plant operations, including the use of computers, hoists, and lifts.

Experience in the glass industry is a plus.

Consistent attendance, safe execution of tasks, and adherence to safety protocols are critical for this position.
