Logistics Coordinator

Trillium is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Hilliard!

This Direct-Hire opportunity seeks an experienced Logistics Coordinator to manage freight and oversee daily load operations. The role includes coordinating, tracking, and reporting on logistics tasks such as intercompany transfers, return material authorizations, inventory counts, and freight claim preparation, while providing exceptional customer service.

The Logistics Coordinator acts as a vital link between sales, supply chain planning, transportation, and customer service teams. This position supports the logistics function and provides backup coverage for roles such as Supply Chain Manager and customer service.

Responsibilities:

-Maintain strong relationships with logistics suppliers while supporting transportation cost reduction and onboarding of new carriers.

-Track key performance indicators, validate accessorial charges, manage freight claims, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

-Schedule and manage all shipments, including customer deliveries, warehouse transfers, raw materials, imports, domestic and international shipments.

-Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, company policies, and DOT requirements, and collect all required logistics documentation.

-Operate the TMS system, support RFP processes for competitive pricing, and prepare daily logistics reports for internal stakeholders.

-Track and trace shipments, providing timely updates and daily communication with drivers, brokers, and internal teams.

-Cross-train and serve as backup for the Transportation Planner and Production Planner positions.

-Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Schedule is 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The pay is $65,000 - $70,000, depending on experience.

-Proficient in logistics software, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office.

-Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

-Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

-Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

-Knowledgeable in domestic and international shipping regulations and required documentation.

-A bachelor’s degree is preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline.

-Minimum of three years’ experience in logistics or supply chain coordination required.
