Your Responsibilities

Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering essential diagnostic tests, and crafting individualized care plans

Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or in conjunction with physicians (depending on your credentialing)

Educating patients and their families on wellness, preventive measures, and disease management strategies

Prescribing medications and treatments in line with your scope of practice

Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care approaches

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, holistic care

Accurately documenting within electronic medical records (EMR) Education Requirements

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Necessary Certifications

Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Ohio

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to procure within 90 days) What Sets You Apart
