We focus on providing delivery, staffing, and supported services such as enterprise integration/implementations including, but not limited to, CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA. We service clients in SLED (state/local gov't & education), financial services, fortune, public utility, as well as regularly partnering with Big 4 SI partners.

Job Title: Regulatory Consultant

Location: Columbia, OH

Duration: 12+ Months contract (11/10/2025-11/5/2026)

Qualifications:

This is a hybrid role in office Tuesday - Thursday

Required Qualifications for Position:

Requires BS/BA in accounting, finance, economics, or other business discipline

Strong attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Solid working knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Word)

Strong interpersonal skills

Strong ability to deliver results Responsibilities:

Work with various client operating company management teams to ensure timely recovery of costs that are included in base rates and approved recovery mechanisms.

Support analytical studies that provide alternative approaches and recommend regulatory strategies that maximize the operating companies' ability to generate revenues and provide for timely recovery of costs while optimizing the return on invested capital

Prepare testimony and exhibits to support regulatory applications; analyze intervenor testimony to formulate responsive testimony and assist with cross-examination strategies; prepare data request responses during general rate cases and other petitions; and assist with support required during Commission hearings.

Support preparation of cost of service and cost allocation studies in accordance with Commission regulations

Timely and accurate development, interpretation and input of approved rates into customer billing system. Verification that customers' bills are correctly calculated.

Comprehensive financial support, including accurate financial reporting of regulatory items within external filings, financial plan updates and internal management reporting

Foster partnership with other internal departments such as Legal, Financial Planning, Accounting, etc. Regulatory Analyst:

Compiles, organizes, analyzes and formats data for base rate case filings and other regulatory reports and filings

ssists in ensuring accurate financial records

Maintains awareness of state projects and/or matters in the provision of good customer service

Ensures the seamless flow of information amongst team members

Embraces and utilizes new technologies and strives for continuous improvement

Performs duties under close supervision Pay rate: $40-63.75/hr depending on experience
