Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Hours per Week: 36

Orientation: Every other Monday

Float Requirement: No

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience

Prior travel nursing experience required

Active Virginia or Compact RN license

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (current and valid)

Trauma Certification required (ATCN, TNCC, or ATLC)

ENPC certification preferred

Cerner EMR experience preferred

All requested time off must be submitted with your application

Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients

Perform rapid assessments and interventions for acute and trauma cases

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Respond effectively to emergencies and follow established clinical protocols
