Maintenance Technician
Location: Fort Payne, Alabama
Job Summary: Qualified candidates are responsible for maintaining, repairing and the assessment of facility equipment and buildings/grounds. Candidate will be required to physically maintain all integral components in a manner consistent with manufacturing standards.

Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for maintaining, repairing and the assessment of conveyor systems, material handling equipment and warehouse storage racking and related components
Abides by TCP and state regulated safety policies
Notifies Supervisor of any safety concerns or violations
Supports Maintenance Supervisor with routine facility inspections, fire system inspections, light tenant improvement projects, etc.
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Provide excellent customer service to all internal customers
Education and Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and to write correspondence
Basic math skills are required, such as the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions and the ability to effectively communicate with Supervisor
One to three months of related experience and/or training
Basic PC skills are required
