ACCOUNTANT
Minimum skills and experience required:
Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Professional affiliation (SAIPA, SAICA, or CIMA) is an advantage
Minimum of 35 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Knowledge of accounting principles, tax legislation, and financial reporting standards
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excel level: intermediate to advanced
Works well under pressure
Deadline driven environment
High degree of accuracy
Attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Managing key financial transactions, which includes overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the comprehensive processing of general ledger entries
Oversee the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing
Maintain and review accounting records, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards and internal controls
Review VAT reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate VAT submissions and payments
Prepare monthly management accounts and reports
Reconcile bank statements
Manco inputs preparation (reporting)
Month end journals
Process depreciation and ensure proper asset classification and disposal
