Position Overview

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled ETRM DevOps Engineer to support the IT Project InfyCom initiative. The role requires strong DevOps engineering expertise, Azure cloud proficiency, and hands-on experience with automation, containerization, and CI/CD practices. The candidate must be available to work onsite in Houston, TX from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps solutions.

Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.

Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).

Automate infrastructure provisioning via Terraform or CloudFormation.

Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, firewalls, NSGs, and monitoring.

Collaborate with development, support, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Support database and BI/reporting integrations with MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.

Apply SRE and ITIL methodologies to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud engineering roles.

Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, especially AKS, VMs, networking, and security.

Proficiency in at least one programming language: C#, Java, Python.

Experience with MS SQL Server and BI tools such as SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.

Hands-on experience with:

Terraform / CloudFormation

Ansible / Chef

Docker & Kubernetes

Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab

PowerShell & Bash scripting

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.

Candidate Requirements

Must be local to Houston, TX or willing to relocate immediately.

Must report onsite 3 days per week (Day 1 onsite required).

Must complete two interview rounds via Skype/Teams plus potential onsite interview.
