Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgery Registered Nurse to join our team. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, excellent benefits, and a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care and assistance to patients, surgeons, anesthetists, and staff during surgical procedures.

Perform comprehensive admission assessments, including medication reconciliation for surgical patients.

Assist with pre-op admission, recovery, and patient transfers.

Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure proper scheduling, equipment readiness, and patient safety.

Administer emergency treatments when necessary.

Assist with decontamination and sterile processing of instruments and supplies.

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with HIPAA guidelines.

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Current RN license in Nebraska.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) required

ACLS and PALS within first year of employment

AORN Perioperative 101 within two years of employment

One year of surgical nursing experience preferred.

EHR experience preferred.

Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift/move up to 35 lbs frequently and assist with lifting up to 300 lbs occasionally.

Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform fine motor tasks.

Pay Range

Hourly: $29.81 – $49.69
