ICU Nursing Job Details

Location: Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 (Upstate New York healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/8/2025 – End: 3/7/2026)

Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840-$1980

Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

On-Site Position

Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required

ICU RN Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Proficiency with hypothermia protocols, balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines

EPIC charting experience required

Available to work through the holidays

Successful completion of on-site, timed ECG exam (study materials provided)

Physical exam required prior to start

Flu vaccination required (medical or religious documentation needed 10 days before start)

County Restrictions: Candidates cannot reside in the following NY counties: Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, Albany

At least 1 year of experience required

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit

Monitor and manage patients with advanced cardiac and respiratory support devices

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely clinical documentation

Participate in ongoing education and complete required ECG exam upon arrival

Maintain compliance with facility policies, including vaccination and physical requirements

Work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled
