For our Engineering Center in Raunheim, near Frankfurt, we are looking for an Data Engineering & Analytics Intern (Battery Data Platform)

We're building data products around real-world battery data from new energy vehicles. As an intern, you'll help us operate the battery data platform, turn raw signals into insights, and explore ML-driven analytics.
What you'll do
Operate the battery data platform (basic electrical concepts are enough): assist in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines for structured & unstructured data (PySpark/Python); help build dashboards and reports for internal product and R&D stakeholders.
Improve data reliability: contribute to data quality checks, validation routines, and monitoring/alerting frameworks.
Research & prototyping: explore new tools, frameworks, and best practices in data engineering & analytics.
What you'll bring

Enrolled student in STEM (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field).
Solid Python skills (e.g., pandas, PySpark) and the ability to debug your own code.
Hands-on ML practice, especially clustering, feature selection, model evaluation, and optimization.
Foundational Big Data & cloud knowledge (Spark/Hive/SQL; any cloud is a plus).
Experience with Git.
Self-organized working style; you resolve most blockers independently and communicate clearly.
Nice to have (bonus)
Certifications in AWS/GCP/Azure/Aliyun (in-progress is also fine).
Real project experience (course projects, internships, or thesis).
Hands-on exposure to Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and testing (basic level is enough).
Participation in hackathons, Kaggle competitions, or open-source projects.
