This role includes providing exceptional anesthesia care in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons, ensuring a holistic approach to patient needs. As a call CRNA, you will be part of a dedicated team working on a flexible, non-pattered schedule, including off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Clinical Care: Implement safe and patient-centric anesthetic care.
Professional Skill: Understand the physiological implications of surgical procedures, while monitoring patient vitals according to established guidelines.
Information Management: Ensure documentation aligns with hospital and regulatory requirements, safeguarding patient information.
Quality Management: Uphold high standards of professionalism and commitment to patient care.
Professional Development: Actively engage in maintaining and advancing your professional competency.
Qualifications
Education: Completion of a Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program; current RN and APRN licenses in Connecticut.
Experience: Preferred clinical experience as a CRNA; demonstrated competence required.
Licensure: AANA Certification, ACLS, and DEA registration are mandatory.
Special Skills: Strong concentration, calmness under pressure, effective communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability are essential.
Physical Demand: The role requires robust intellectual, motor, and observational skills, including the ability to work long hours while maintaining effective communication and patient monitoring.
