Job Description

Location: Ashburn, VA Onsite

Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Our client, a highly regarded independent wealth management firm, is seeking a Client Services Associate to join their growing advisory team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, client-focused professional with 2–3 years of experience in financial services who’s ready to take their career to the next level.

About the Role

As a Client Services Associate, you’ll be the operational backbone of a high-performing advisory practice. You’ll work closely with advisors and clients to ensure an exceptional client experience—managing account administration, documentation, and day-to-day service needs with precision and professionalism.

You’ll have direct exposure to financial planning, investment operations, and client relationship management, making this a great fit for candidates who aspire to grow into advisory, operations, or client relationship roles within the wealth management industry.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for client service requests, account updates, and documentation.

Prepare new account paperwork, ACAT transfers, and custodial forms (Schwab or Fidelity experience preferred).

Support advisors with meeting preparation, reporting, and follow-up tasks.

Maintain accurate CRM and portfolio management system records.

Monitor cash balances, distributions, and money movements to ensure timely processing.

Partner with the operations team to enhance workflows and improve the client experience.

What You’ll Bring

2–3 years of experience in a wealth management, RIA, or financial advisory environment.

Strong understanding of client service workflows within financial planning or investment management.

Familiarity with custodial platforms (Charles Schwab, Fidelity, or similar).

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.

Series 65 or interest in obtaining one is a plus.

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, relationship-driven firm that values collaboration, professional growth, and excellence in client service. You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team where your contributions are recognized—and your career path is clear.Company Description
