We are currently recruiting for a Food Service Assistant to join our team in Haywards Heath, RH16 4DP

Part time – 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday, shifts ranging between 9am - 3pm

What you’ll be doing

Required to be flexible according to business requirements. The daily focus may vary, however it is expected that activities will typically include the following:

Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers

Food preparation including making sandwiches and deli foods

General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service

Till work and taking payments

Restocking items and stock rotation

General cleaning of the kitchen and food prep areas

Stocking up counters and stock rotation

Sweeping/Mopping and general house keeping to ensure areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.

We aim for all staff to be multi skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e learning portal.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar catering role is desirable

Customer focused and enthusiastic team player

A great team player with a flexible approach to duties

DBS Check will be required
