Travel RN - Psychiatric

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Geropsych travel position on the night shift requiring a KY or compact RN license and 2 years of recent experience.

Job Details

• Work in the Geropsychiatric Unit of a hospital setting,

• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,

• Patient population consists of geriatric psychiatric patients,

• 13-week assignment,

• No local travelers accepted due to a 50-mile radius rule,

Job Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license required,

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in geropsychiatric or psychiatric nursing,

• AHA certifications required and must remain valid through the assignment,

• NIHSS certification required and proof must be submitted prior to consideration,

• CPI training required and may be completed onsite,

• Must have a valid US Social Security Number,

• No 'HITS' or disciplinary actions on nursing license accepted,

• Gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained,

Additional Information

• Completion of mandatory CPI training is required for all RNs, which may be provided onsite,

• All travelers must be fully vaccinated against Flu and COVID with documentation,

• Candidates must be prepared to provide all active certifications at time of consideration,

• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the assignment,
