Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel, and road base from a number of locations across Australia.

We are seeking to recruit a self-motivated individual to join our team as a Plant Operator, located at our Devon Meadows Drying Plant. The successful candidate will operate and assist in the Drying Plant used to process and grade washed sand.

In your new role with us, you will:

Manage safe, efficient, and independent operation of dry sand fixed plant and bagging production

Carry out day to day operation of various vehicles, plant, and equipment such as the Front-End Loader, Forklift, and packaging machine

Load and stack sandbags for delivery

Perform general labour activities

This role is a great fit for you if you are:

Physically fit, as manual handling is involved

Flexible with working hours – AM & PM shifts

Mechanically inclined and able to solve problems.

Positive and high regard for safety policies and procedures.

A team player and enjoy being part of a productive team.

Forklift and Front-End Loader skills and experience preferred, but not essential

From $34.01 p/hour, pending experience and qualifications, plus penalty rate & super
