North Alabama Hospital, a Level 3 Trauma Center within the LifePoint Health system, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Urologist to provide locum tenens coverage. This is an ongoing vacancy while the facility conducts a permanent search. The role requires both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with hospital/surgery center privileges.

Practice Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient

Daily Census: 20 patients per shift

Beds in Department: 3

Rounding: Both inpatient and clinic required

EMR Systems: Athena & Meditech

Credentialing: 30 days (temporary privileges available)

License Requirement: Active AL license or IMLC- IPL will help with AL licensure. Call Coverage

Call Type: Beeper

Response Time: 30 minutes

Phone Consults: 5 per day

Patients Seen: 25 per day

Admissions: 1 per day

Call Ratio: TBD
