Our Philadelphia based client is seeking a highly skilled Attorney with 3-6 years of experience. This position requires an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to navigate complex legal issues, particularly in the education sector. The ideal candidate will excel at providing strategic legal advice, drafting corporate documents, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

This role is hybrid, 3 days onsite / 2 days WFH in Philadelphia or Conshohocken.
Responsibilities:
• Offer expert legal counsel on intricate matters affecting education-focused clients.
• Draft and review a variety of corporate transactional documents, including formation and organization paperwork, financing agreements, and commercial contracts.
• Conduct thorough research on federal and state laws and regulations to provide actionable insights for clients and colleagues.
• Assist clients in navigating regulatory and commercial challenges, while fostering solutions that align with their long-term goals.
• Translate complex legal, financial, and educational concepts into clear, understandable information for diverse stakeholders.
• Maintain proactive, clear communication with clients, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Collaborate closely with clients to address day-to-day challenges and support their strategic objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and provide tailored guidance for educational institutions.
• Utilize advanced legal research tools and technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.• Juris Doctorate degree with 3-6 years of experience as a practicing attorney, specializing in corporate and/or commercial contracts.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one state, with preference for certain jurisdictions.
• Previous experience in the education sector, showcasing familiarity with the operational aspects of educational institutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Westlaw, and other legal research platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience in the EC/VC space is highly desirable.
