Job Description
Apex Spine and Neurosurgery is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our expanding neurosurgical team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in both the clinic and hospital settings, providing comprehensive care to patients with complex spine and neurosurgical conditions. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented clinician with a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities:
Perform patient evaluations, histories, physical exams, and assist in developing treatment plans.
Assist neurosurgeons in clinic, hospital rounds, and surgical procedures.
Order, review, and interpret labs, imaging, and specialty consultations.
Provide post-operative care, patient education, and follow-up.
Document all patient encounters accurately in the EMR system.
Participate in on-call rotation and support inpatient neurosurgical care as needed.
Maintain strong clinical skills through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Physician Assistant license (or pending application) in the state of Georgia.
Experience in surgical or procedural specialties preferred; neurosurgery experience is a plus but not required—training will be provided.
Strong clinical judgment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and supporting practice goals.
Experience with EMR systems (preferred).
