Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (Ohio nursing jobs)

Assignment Type: Travel RN

Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/5/2026, End: 4/6/2026)

Shift: Day shifts, flexible scheduling between 6:30am and 11:00pm; call required

Schedule: 2x8-hour shifts and 2x12-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)

Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), Operating Room RN

Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,760 – $2,830

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)

Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

BLS certification required

Minimum 5 years of overall operating room (OR) experience

At least 2 years of dedicated cardiac and vascular nursing experience

Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma healthcare facility

Proficiency with EPIC charting system

Ability to scrub required

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Two professional references required (one from a manager/director or supervisor)

CVOR RN Responsibilities

Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for cardiac, vascular, and transplant surgeries

Scrub and circulate in complex procedures: CABG, valve replacements, AAA repairs, TAVR, TEVAR, and more

Demonstrate proficiency in general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant cases

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC

Participate in call rotation and adapt to flexible scheduling

Uphold infection control and safety protocols
