Position Overview

The Sports Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining a fun, efficient, and profitable environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings and knows how to keep the place buzzing—whether it’s a Sunday football rush or a quiet midweek evening.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, train, and schedule front-of-house team members

Oversee daily bar and restaurant operations

Ensure top-tier customer service and handle guest concerns

Maintain inventory levels, manage ordering, and control costs

Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management

Oversee cash handling procedures and daily reporting

Coordinate promotions, game-day events, and special activities

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and liquor regulations

Foster a positive, team-oriented culture

Qualifications

2+ years of bar/restaurant management experience

Strong leadership and communication skills

Knowledge of bar operations, cocktails, and draft systems

Ability to thrive under pressure during peak sports events

Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented

Flexible availability (nights, weekends, game days)
