Job Description
We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Senior Development Associate to join a real estate developer in Houston. This role will focus on the execution of development projects across logistics, warehouse, and IOS (Industrial Outdoor Storage) assets within the greater Houston MSA. While the initial emphasis is on execution, the ideal candidate will also have the interest and capability to source new development opportunities in the near future.
Manage all phases of industrial development projects from entitlement through construction and delivery.
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
Oversee budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and construction management.
Maintain strong knowledge of industrial submarkets across the Houston MSA to inform project decisions.
Support underwriting and feasibility analysis for new developments.
Collaborate with leasing and asset management teams to align development with market demand.
Contribute to sourcing and evaluating new development opportunities as the role evolves.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Development Associate- Industrial should have:
3+ years of experience in industrial real estate development, preferably within the Houston market.
Strong understanding of logistics, warehouse, and/or IOS asset classes.
Proven track record of managing development projects through execution.
Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Desire and aptitude to grow into a full cycle role to include front end sourcing.
Opportunity to hire at a Manager or Senior Manager level for more experienced candidates
