Travel RN - Pediatric ICU

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU role requiring an OH or compact license and recent Level 1 PICU experience.

Job Details

• Position is in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a hospital setting,

• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (19:00-07:30),

• Patient population includes critically ill pediatric patients,

• Floating required to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and medical-surgical units as needed,

Job Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand,

• At least 2 years of PICU experience highly preferred,

• Recent Level 1 PICU experience required,

• Willingness to float to other specified units as assignment requires,

• Two recent supervisory references required; at least one must be from a supervisor or manager,

• First time travelers considered with at least 3 years of PICU experience,

Additional Information

• Cannot have been a permanent employee of the facility within the past 2 years,

• Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are not eligible for this position,

• No on-call requirements,

• Preparedness to cover floating assignments as needed is essential,
