IT Operations Specialist Nordics

We are looking for an IT Operations Supervisor (Nordics) with a hands-on mentality to be responsible for the deployment, support and correct functioning of information technology architecture within the site(s) in a country. With focus on the local IT operations, covering local Infrastructure, printers, Local Servers, Fixed & Mobile Telecom in line with the Group’s IT strategy, & overall infrastructure, the responsible person reports to the Regional IT Operations Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and support local IT infrastructure: PCs, printers, (W)LAN, servers, telephony (fixed/mobile), and end-user applications.

Ensure daily operations meet SLA targets and cost efficiency goals.

Provide technical support, training, and assistance to end users within agreed SLO timeframes.

Contribute to corporate IT projects impacting local sites (e.g., WAN, LAN, VoIP upgrades and integrations).

Deliver projects on time, within budget, and without business disruption, following Barry Callebaut templates.

Manage local IT Opex and Capex budgets, driving cost improvement and efficiency initiatives.

Oversee relationships with local IT service vendors.

Defend and promote global IT client standards to local business stakeholders.

Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring incidents to prevent future issues.

Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to the role.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within an international company.

Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.

Fluent in English and Swedish.

Danish language skills are a strong advantage.

Strong understanding of IT infrastructure operations and service delivery.

Experience managing IT budgets and vendor contracts.

Hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving.
