In partnership with Doherty Staffing Solutions, Polaris is seeking a Die Cast Repair Technician to join our team in Monticello, MN. This is a direct hire opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role:As a Die Cast Repair Technician, youâ ll play a vital role in supporting our die cast operations by preparing, maintaining, and repairing die cast molds and tooling. Your precision and problem-solving skills will help ensure production runs smoothly and safely.

What Youâ ll Do:

Prepare die cast molds and tooling for production runs

Diagnose and repair tooling issues, including replacing pins, cores, and components

Perform routine maintenance on die cast molds

Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect parts with precision

Communicate tooling changes and repairs across shifts

Support production teams with die cast equipment setup

Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocolsWhat Weâ re Looking For:

High school diploma or GED required

2+ years of machining or tool maintenance experience (or a 2-year Machine Tool Technology degree)

Experience with CNC equipment and die cast machinery preferred

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills

Dependable team player with a proactive mindset Work Environment:

Standing, walking, and manual dexterity required throughout the shift

Regular lifting of up to 40 lbs
