Job Summary:

The Corporate Finance Intern will collaborate with the finance department to support strategic projects and play a key role in achieving the Company’s financial goals. This internship offers valuable experience in financial analysis and reporting activities at Woda Cooper Companies.

Reports To:

The Corporate Finance Intern reports to the Vice President of Financial Reporting.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Gathering and analyzing data from internal sources and third-party partners to provide key financial insights into the company’s functions.

Identifying and resolving issues related to financial operations, including accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Maintaining and updating critical databases and documentation related to financial and investor reporting.

Collaborating with various departments to gather data and support accurate financial summaries.

Contributing to the ongoing improvement of reporting processes and tools to increase efficiency and clarity.

Conducting research and compiling financial data to support project underwriting.

Assisting with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed to support organizational priorities.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Abilities:

Strong attention to detail, emphasizing accuracy and precision in financial analysis.

Well-versed verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly explain financial information to both specialized and non-specialized audiences.

Proficient in Excel, with strong skills in financial modeling and data analytics.

Education and Experience:

Must be a recent graduate or actively working towards a bachelor’s or master’s in

a related field.

Background in data analysis and reporting.

Experience in creating and maintaining reports.

Physical Requirements:

Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.
