Job Description
Join our team as a Dock Assembler/Shipping Clerk, where you will be an integral part of a dynamic work environment. This role is crucial in supporting our expanding assembly operations by ensuring efficient receiving and preparation of shipments for production.
Responsibilities
Receive shipments of foam and wood products and prepare them for production.
Work collaboratively with a small team of 4-5 members to match work orders and prepare production for assembly.
Utilize air-powered staple guns and utility knives to perform repetitive tasks.
Assist in unloading trucks and ensure accurate documentation of incoming orders.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.Essential Skills

Stable work history.
Comfortable working on a small team and in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Previous warehouse or industrial work experience.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Prior foam manufacturing experience.
Experience with vinyl material or production.
Industrial sewing skills.
Mechanical aptitude.

Work Environment
Our facility hosts 70 employees across various departments, including Sewing, Assembly, Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and Engineering. While most areas are climate-controlled, some parts may be loud, and the Dock Department is not climate-controlled. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans or shorts with short or long sleeves. Work hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with voluntary overtime available. The plant has a positive atmosphere, providing ample space and a good vibe throughout. This role is suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, physical environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westerville, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
