The Role
Job Summary:
The calibration engineer will work closely with the process team to ensure that the calibration of the product meets the specification requirement for the customer. This person will need to understand the product requirements in order to create a test plan that can validate the products performance during the production process. They will also be responsible for writing and updating test procedures, creating and maintaining test reports as well as working with the factory to improve any issues identified by the testing.
Job Responsibilities:
• Create test plans based on customer specifications
• Create and update test procedures
• Create and maintain test reports
• Work with the factories to identify and correct any quality or functionality issues
• Validate the products performance during the production process
• Create reports and documentation for the customer
Job Qualifications:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering field such as electrical, mechanical or software engineering
• Strong understanding of test planning and execution
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Experience with document control systems such as Team Center, SharePoint, etc.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
